Privacy Policy
This policy explains what we collect when you enquire, why we collect it, how long we keep it and how to have it removed. It covers this website and the enquiries that come through it.
- Enquiry data used only to answer you
- Never sold
- Project details kept confidential
1. Who we are
This website is operated by GDtokin, a manufacturer of commercial dining furniture based in China. For any question about this policy or about data you have sent us, contact gdtokinsale@gmail.com.
2. What we collect
Information you send us. When you submit an enquiry form, email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you send: your name, email address, country, optionally a phone or WhatsApp number, and the content of your enquiry — which may include product lists, drawings, room plans or reference images you choose to attach.
Information collected automatically. Our server records standard technical request data (such as the page requested, the referring page, and a truncated browser identifier) for security and troubleshooting. If analytics is enabled on this site, we also collect aggregated usage data — see section 6.
We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive personal data such as payment card numbers. Payment for orders is made by bank transfer against a proforma invoice we issue, not through this website.
3. Why we use it
We use your enquiry information to answer you, prepare a quotation, and — if you place an order — to produce the order documents and arrange delivery. We use inquiry context (venue type, project scale) to send you references that are actually relevant rather than a generic catalogue.
We do not sell your data, and we do not pass your project details or the files you send us to other buyers. Enquiries are visible only to the team members who need them to answer you.
4. Sharing
We share the minimum necessary with parties who help us fulfil your enquiry or order — for example a freight forwarder, an inspection agency or a customs broker. Where an inspection or audit is arranged at your request, the report is issued to you as well as to us.
We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so.
5. How long we keep it
Unanswered or unsuccessful enquiries are kept while there is a reasonable prospect of the project going ahead, and are then deleted on request. Order-related records — proforma invoices, packing lists, inspection reports and shipping documents — are kept for the period required for warranty, after-sales and accounting purposes, because a repeat order or a spare-parts request may refer back to them years later.
6. Cookies and analytics
This site is built without advertising or tracking cookies of our own. If analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages buyers actually read, so we can improve the product information. Those services set their own cookies and process data under their respective privacy policies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any part of this site — the enquiry form works without cookies, and browsing the product range requires none.
7. Your choices
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to gdtokinsale@gmail.com and we will respond within 24 hours, and act on the request within a reasonable period.
If you have asked us to send references, samples or quotations and then decide not to proceed, tell us and we will close the file and delete the enquiry details at your request.
8. Confidentiality of project information
We treat project information as confidential by default. We do not publish the names of clients, the venue addresses, or photographs of installed projects without written permission. If your procurement process requires a confidentiality agreement before you share drawings or brand files, ask us and we will sign one first.
9. Security
Data sent through this site is transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry records is restricted to the team members who handle them. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send anything you would not want stored — and for high-value design files, ask us for our file transfer route instead of attaching them to a form.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data, we update this page. The version published when you send an enquiry is the one that applies to that enquiry.
Plain-language summary: we keep what you send us so we can quote and, if you order, deliver. We do not sell it, we do not publish your project, and we will delete it if you ask.
