Our Factory & Quality Control

GDtokin is a commercial dining furniture manufacturer. We design, engineer and produce dining chairs, tables, bar stools and banquettes in our own workshops in China — which is why we can hold 136 models across 9 categories in four material families and keep one consistent standard of quality on every line.

  • 136 products across 9 categories
  • 4 material families
  • In-line QC on every order
  • Pre-shipment inspection before loading
How our factory works

Dedicated workshops, one standard of quality

A bentwood café chair and a sintered-stone table top are not made on the same line. Our factory organises production by workshop — upholstery, welded metal frames, solid-wood joinery and stone fabrication each run in their own area, and every workshop reports to the same quality control desk.

How we control each production line

  • Construction standards — each workshop works to its own specialist standard (upholstery, welded metal frames, solid-wood joinery, stone fabrication), written down per model rather than improvised per order.
  • Finish consistency — batch-to-batch colour and texture stability, which matters most on repeat orders.
  • Capacity against our lead times — we verify line capacity before we quote a date, not after you have paid a deposit.
  • Export and documentation record — packing standards and paperwork that clear customs without argument.
  • Long-term consistency — the same team produces your repeat orders, so your next shipment matches your last one.

What this means for you

  • One factory, four material families — if your concept needs three different materials, you deal with one manufacturer.
  • One quotation, one freight plan — mixed containers consolidated before shipment.
  • One point of accountability — you raise a problem with us, and we resolve it with the workshop that built it.

Buyers are welcome to visit our factory or arrange a video tour. We will share our certification, inspection and audit documentation with any buyer before they order.

Quality control

Five checkpoints between your order and your container

Each checkpoint produces something you can look at, so quality is a document trail rather than an assurance.

Production planning

Before an order is placed we verify the workshop's construction capability, certification status and current capacity against the model you have chosen.

First-article confirmation

The first unit is confirmed against the approved sample, drawing or specification — including finish, hardware and stitch detail — before the line continues.

In-line checks

During production our QC team inspects frames, joints, foam and upholstery at agreed points, and sends you photos as the order progresses.

Pre-shipment inspection

Before loading we check quantity, finish, function, packing and carton marking against the packing list. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV or Intertek can be booked on your behalf.

Loading supervision

We supervise container loading for volume and stacking orders, and photograph the loaded container so you can see how your shipment was packed.

What you receive: the first-article confirmation, in-line photos, the pre-shipment inspection report and loading photos. If a third-party inspection is booked, their report goes to you directly as well as to us.

Capacity & lead time

What we can commit to

Lead times we quote

  • Sampling — typically 7 to 10 days.
  • Production — typically 15 to 25 days after order confirmation and deposit, depending on model, finish and order size.
  • Peak season — we flag the dates that tighten capacity before you place the order, not after.
  • Exact schedule — written into the order acknowledgement, model by model.

How we protect your date

Capacity is reserved when your deposit is confirmed rather than when your enquiry arrives, so the schedule in your order acknowledgement is the schedule we hold. Where an order spans several production lines, we plan the sequence so everything meets the same container.

Certification & audits

Certification and audit access

Certificates are issued in the name of our factory, so we can send you the documents that cover the models you are buying — no detour through a third party.

What we hold

Our factory holds platform top-tier certification, and we provide our own ISO and product-testing documentation on request. Because certification is product-specific and model-specific, we confirm which documents apply to the models you are buying.

Never assume from a document set on a website — ask us for the certificate that covers your specific model and we will send that file.

Audits and visits

  • Document review — certification and past inspection reports shared before you order.
  • Video factory tour — a live or recorded walkthrough of our factory, arranged on request.
  • On-site audit — you or your agent are welcome to visit; we coordinate the schedule and interpret where needed.
  • Third-party audit — SGS, BV, Intertek or your nominated agency, booked with our support.
